Just wondering what people opinion is on the best way to defence against repeaters. I am talking from a commarders view point. Most weapons have ways to defend against but the repeaters defence seems to be... more repeaters.

Repeaters are the most favoured weapon in the game, and really need nerfing by being having a very steep range/damage drop off curve.

Yeah I would agree with that... they really can hurt towers.

The answer is clearly surge ;p

surge has shorter range than repeater i think. If your on about twoers, i think the shock tower/wind spire would stop the reapter projectiles.

if you're a human and on foot then i would say either a marksman bow or yes, another repeater. for com you don't really have to worry as a repeater can't really do any damage to buildings, the only use for it is to distract towers so people can rush through (although normal guard towers can attack from almost that range they are very unaccurate most of the time).
if beast the best tactic is to simply run until you can get close in and attack them with either surge or a melee attack.
just my opinion ;)

Yeah get enough people good with marksman bows and it is quite ammusing :)
But if you do get 4 maybe 5 people with repeaters try taking a tower down..... doesn't take long at all!

Yeah but towers are weak. The shotgun is very effective against them.

disruptors work well if you can get in close. Giving out adrenaline and magnetic shield as a commander will help your team take out repeater uses.
Pulse rifles work too, or just spam mortars/launchers and its likely they wont be very accurate since they cant see through the explosions.

If you can get Pulse rifles out most things fall down..... just like last night!
