Question about buy display menu, default setup..

Hi all,

I run a cyber cafe and have a question for you, some of the pc's have had the default load screen changed, this effects both cs 1.5 and 1.6.

You know when default cs 1.5 or 1.6 loads a map, it then asks you to choose a team, the text usually is in orange and it is surrounded by a text box, when you goto the weapon select screen you have again the orange text and the weapon images..

however within the shop some clients have been changed only to display the text only on the left hand side in white, how can I change this back to default.

the reason i ask is we have a Tournament on this saturday and i would like all the machines set as defualt config, and then if clients wish to change it they can, but some players prefer the default loadout and i would like players to all see the same screen layout on start.

i cant remember the exact command but its basically vgui menus are off - hence the simpler text menus. If you look in a config on one of the pcs u can probably find the command somewhere - i think its a hud_ command but i cant be sure

it's in the in-game menus as well if you can't be arsed to find the console command.

think it's under options/game but can't recall. Look for that VGUI thingy.

um, thanks found it ...

basically you need to delete the config file, then when it restarts it rebuilds the config..

of you want them all to be the same just copy the config file from a good pc to all the others...
