Just thought I'd pop in and say Hi.

I'm was so impressed with the single player demos that I've ordered the game.

Is the multiplayer any good? Bear in mind I'm not a big fan of DM and TDM gametypes. I've also never managed to get a Quake engine based game to work smoothly over the Internet - but that's more of a side issue as I've never had the incentive.

lo ent - it's got me hooked m8y - and its keeping me online UT fragging on the back burner for now - all game types are excellently balanced with moving spawn points for team deathmatch (so no spawn raping) - the maps are also topnotch - although not very many at the moment.

One very big reason to play it online, is that at the moment there doesn't appear to be any lamers whatsoever on any server i have played on.

Try it, you'll like it

i hated it, single player was good, but short. multiplayer is pure spray and pray with a mix of quake3 and cs style games.

i hated it so much i sold it 2 days after buying it at a loss of £10

not been that disapointed in a game for a long time

and i can see why you hate it - because you play BF1942 gents :)

one of the reasons that I like it is because of the simplicity of the game - i don't get much time online due to RL and hence why CoD allows me a brief moment of pleasure (just like my other online lurve - instaCTF UT)

if you like ur games free of thought, but with plenty of tactics and only a few key areas of the game (ie. killing) then CoD is for you, if you want something more in depth then try BF, Planetside, etc.
