Well thanks to the programmers of this game, there was absolutely no point me going out and buying the thing so I could run it at the latest patch level (1.41). It won't run on a non-dedicated server without trying to authenticate to a server and check CD keys, and the authentican process is gay enough to not be unblocked by the good lads at MPUK because it's utter ****e.
