Hi all MPUK ski trippers,
I don't know if you have sorted your travel insurance yet (I know BGH has) but if you were looking to get a good deal, why not try ASDA, at www.asda.com (http://www.asda.com) for size.
I got a quote of 1 years insurance with winter sports for only £53.
This sounds good to me, any better deals around?

I think I paid about £20 for one-trip last time, from Nationwide, who paid out a very tidy sum, but took over a month of constant phone hassling and broken promises to do so. They also have thier HQ in Ireland, so the minimum turnaround will be 17 days (7 days to mail out, 3 day processing, 7 days to mail back)
Also, I had to put all my medical bills on my credit card, then wait for a cheque to pay them off afterwards. In the event of an injury this time I will be unable to do that. Does anyone know if there are any insurance companies that will be able to cover medical expenses direct?

I paid £37 for 1 year's cover including winter sports from insure and go. That was nearly a year ago, so it might be different now.

GO Insurance have just quoted me £21 for single trip with automatic cover for off-piste - I think Zakweee said we needed this in order to ski home to the chalet?
