In a word yes. It does depend on the commander (esp if you don't have one), but with a good commander its serious fun.

Initally playing the demo, I must say im quite impressed. It seems to merge the FPS & RTS games quite nicely.. However....

Worryingly there are few UK server and the server get very laggy when full. Maybe becuase they are such large servers (64 or 48 players :O ), maybe reducing the number of players would help improve the lag situation?
The other problem is becuase they are so few UK servers, they have a tenancy to be full. Of course reducing the players on the severs will make this situation worse not better. Dunno what can be done, more servers with fewer players is needed. Obviously more servers involve additional costs, which it would be unfair to expect MPUK to pay. Maybe if MPUK and Savage comes up with some sorta deal between them?

This game is going to be so much fun at statlan and future I-Series. I wonder if there will be enough teams with enough players for a tourney???

My gut feeling is that the server is overloaded when both are maxed out...

heh i seem to be lucky, most times when i connect to a server there seems to be a low ping/lag for me

and seriously i cannot stress this enough, if you like a FPS and strategy games then you will love this (thank you james that'll be £50 in small unmarked £5 notes left by my door ;))

oh and by the way i go the way of the beast FOR THE HORDE! :)
