I never played Halo on Xbox but I do like the PC version I can see why it was so big.
Not really played much of the single player yet, but I will when I get time.

Bought it yesterday,it could have been better i mean theyve had enough time working on it
BUT ! its nothing a few well worked out patches wont cure, theyve already released two patches but now that its been released in europe they should have alot more feed back on bugs/issues
Hope they fix it soon !

i cant see where Gunsmith's 'its a crap fps with good ideas gone to waste' since Halo has set out like a shedload of FPS conventions that everyone seems to be copying these days...
infact, i think a huge chunk of Dredd Vs. Death was ripped from Halo (not least the blatent stuff like recharging armour and the 'only 2 weapons' idea)
Gunsmith, you aren't just playing 'gamer scourned' cos they only just released it on the PC despite being on a console for 2 year are you?
and my opinion...
the game rocks, plays pretty well on my box, has a good flow, wasn't too easy (played on normal), now all I need are the soundtrack CD and Halo 2... NOW

until someone manages to hack the game apart and with no official soundtrack release in sight (none of the Bungie releases on mp3.com are from Halo), it could be a long wait :(
speaking of hacking the game apart, wtf did they manage to do with the damn game...
i mean... 1.4GB of stuff cabbed onto a single CD...
it seems that all the files and game content is held within the map files, since thats the only directory that the game creates that breaks 1MB, let alone 1GB...

Qdos, copy me one for i19 plz, if your going of course, anywayz, Halo multiplayer in some respects can be slower paced than many other FPS' ive played (UT series for instance) but theres nothing like gunning down people in jeeps and tanks. i thinks its a w1nn0r.
But all i have to say bout the gfx side is tht it seems picky about what gfx card u use, i use a Ge-Force FX 5200 128mb AGP 8x card and it runs like the poop on it, lob my MX460 in and its fine :S, but i just think its the extra graphical features my FX unlocks.
fcuking hell is tht the time :/
