Ok, here's a random thing.

Anybody else here play guitar? If so, what do you play, what have you got?

Me, I play anything like Foo Fighters, Barenaked Ladies, Coldplay, Tenacious D, Reel Big Fish, REM. Stuff like that.

As for guitars, see here on my website (http://www.davidrickard.net/b2/sections.php?s=27). Doesn't include my latest purchase, a Gibson Les Paul Special.

Yeah bassists count.

They can't count, but they do count here.

Then we start to play, so I don't know how that ends :(

I tried bass recently. Its just far too wierd for somebody who has been playing guitar for the last three years or so.

So am I to conclude that next to nobody on here plays? Or is that that you just can't be fagged to answer?

Or I just haven't been here in months and am unknown anyway, but hello :)

I play a Yamaha RGX121s at the moment, was a great starter to experiment with different styles on, very versitile. I will be getting an Ibanez RG2550ex once my bank balance has recovered from the far-too-tempting mp3 player..

I pretty much play what I listen to - got an acoustic too for the lighter stuff like matchbox 20/counting crows, but most of the music I have is either instumental soloists (Paul Gilbert, Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani etc), or rock/metal stuff - Iron Maiden, Thunder, AC/DC. It's challenging, but has always kept me improving, and encouraged me by being able to tackle more advanced parts of the tracks - from simpler rhythm parts progressing up to the more advanced riffs and finally taking on solos. I've gone more in to making up my own stuff more recently, very satisfying :)
