Corsair > Crucial > Kingston methinks.

Custom PC is worth a read in terms of getting upgrades for PC and they seem to rate Corsair tops.

Does depend what your budget is tho'.

I like my RAM reliable with a nice fat lifetime warranty.

Crucial

But saying that i wouldn't mind giving a go to the Corsair Matched Pair Platinum PC3200 1024mb (2x512) CAS2

As long as its fast, reliable and fairly priced, I don't give a toss. It just has to work as far as I'm concerned.

I find the cheapest. It drops in price so fast that if it breaks, I'll buy some more, and probably still have spent less than buying something with a lifetime warranty.

and if not over clocked and the machine has good ventilation then generally memory tends not to fail due to having no mechanical parts and so a stick will last you until its time to upgrade anyways

yeah summit like that, thats why im syaing why pay the little extra for lifetime warrenty when youll never have it too long anyways

if you don't intend on overclocking then corsair and the rest are a waste of money, go for some standard crucial or twinmos etc.

If you do intend on overclocking then corsiar etc are worth a look.

No,

The lifetime warranty is piece of mind, if a company can confidently offer it, it means the goods on offer are of a VERY good quality.
