HD problems?

Ok, this started yesterday and as of now i've been affected by it twice.

Basically i'd be doing anything on my comp and it would freeze. I would not be able to do anything bar alt+tab through programs.
Then once rebooting it would fail to detect the HD and try to boot of the Floppy disc.

Once CMOS was reset it would load up into a blue screen of crap code. I'd so some various stuff and it would eventually load back up to windows.

I'm desperate for help. Can anyone help me?

what drive is it?
sounds like its dying a slow death, ure ure ide cables are shot
and shouldnt this be in hardware?

Hardware looks kinda dead and since i'm kinda desperate to get this fixed QUICKLY i thought it was needed.

Oh yes, Metal Slug is class. (btw i'm AtomicSluG. I couldnt be bothered to create a new Forum login thingeh)

I first played it at an arcade machine in Italy. Boy i got RSI from it.
