Tamworth Trip Anyone?

The MPUK ski trip thread reminded me of what I've been missing so true to form a trip to Tamworth last weekend was due. For those of you who don't know sat nite is "fresh" night which means board only and loads of cool "stuff" out on the slope

This saturday that meant, 2 steel kickers, a 12 foot quarter pipe, 2 picnic tables, a big and very cool fun box, 2 rails - 1 straight, 1 kinked and a big ass gas pipe. All a lot of fun and on a board test night too so could try out all this years boards and stuff, much pleasure

The question is, are any of you mpuk boarders up for it any time soon, its 10pm - 1am (I think) with a short break to groom the slope, cost is £28 although if you buy a snowboard mag they all have 2 for 1's in that make it uber cheap. Not sure when the next board test nite is but I'll look it up once I can dig up the newsletter they sent me.

Oh and yes there is a bar with a rather nice balcony over looking the slope, and music and a barbaque and occassionally throw down prizes if you fancy doing something silly over whatever thingy the guy with the prizes is standing by ;)

But yeah, anyone interested? :)

xscape = twice the price and half as much fun imho, I can actually see it out of my window right now and yet i still go to tamworth, nuff said?

OK I need to let off some steam so I'm clearly off to tamworth this sat, if anyone wants to come I'll be about from 9:30->1am ish, the bar is open late etc
