Ravenshield 1.41+Punkbuster

Can we get the new patch on a.s.a.p and get punkbuster setup aswell! ^_^

1.41 is on I'd like to wait a day or so with pb just to make sure theres no killer bugs :P Oh BTW they still havent fixed connect to ip or gamespy listing :(

still experiencing server crashes with 1.41 without pb enabled any ideas ???

Sorry no ideas about the crashes hte best u can do is report them to UBI but dont expect an anwser I've been waiting for over 2 weeks without even a responce :( PB was installed last night you just need to enable it.

"How do I enable PunkBuster?

On the game's Options screen from the main menu, go to the Multiplayer area and you will see a PunkBuster checkbox. This checkbox is used to Enable and Disable the PunkBuster client. Alternatively, you can use a text editor to edit the pbclgame.cfg file in the "System/pb" folder and enter the line: "cl_punkbuster 1" (to enable) or "cl_punkbuster 0" (to disable). If you edit the file while the game is running, you will need to exit the game and restart for the change to take effect. For Admins running RvS game servers, you need to join the server logged in as a server administrator and use the following console commands (without the quotes): "admin pb_sv_enable" or "admin pb_sv_disable". Alternatively, edit the pbsvgame.cfg file in the "System/pb" folder and use "sv_punkbuster 1" or "sv_punkbuster 0" respectively. Again, if pbsvgame.cfg is edited or changed, the server instance must be restarted for the change to take effect."

admin pb_sv_enable command doesn't work

punkbuster check box grayed out even after restarting the server

"System/pb" folder no access through web admin

so how can i enable it :confused: if I'm just being thick let me know :D

When you did admin pb_sv_disable had you logged in?
You need to login with "adminlogin <password>" first. Once your done "adminlogout". If adminlogin doesnt give you any feedback then it didnt work ( wrong password )

btw u dont need to login cos the game remembers ur password, i 4give ya 4 that :P

Ok UBI / PB in we are **** socker yet again. PB requires copying into each config dir to work so Im gonna have to make some changes to our system. Will try to get it done tomorrow.
