You need to e-mail clanservers@multiplay.co.uk with your request. Failing that, we do run a lot of support in #mpukhosting, you just need to be a little patient sometimes.

It should be just a matter of getting hold of someone who knows what they are doing in #mpukhosting, and then they will walk you through how to do it with clanforge.

Try and get a hold of Say_Ten. Most of the rest of the admins deal with specific games and wont be able to help you as much.
Sending an email as well wont hurt tho.

haha... i dont believe this, u know the admin i told you who didnt seem to have a clue...that was Say_Ten, well either he didnt or he just couldnt be arsed to speak to me, he fobbed me off onto another guy....it goes round and round...
how about someone actually help me instead of telling me to goto somewhere else eh?
this is getting quite laughable now

Firstly do you have access to the server components? As they are not officially released yet.
From what I saw Say_Ten forwarded you to someone who knew about DMW2 which was as much as he could do under the cirumstances. Theres no point in being agressive / insulting when admins dont know the details of something thats not even released yet :P
So the deal is; unless you have access to the server components and can send us the details on how to get them installed you will have to wait till its released to the general public.

hey im sorry if i sound aggressive but when i keep being bounced to different people its gets frustrating, i dont know jack about dmw2 except everyone is raving that its gonna be the next big anti-cheat, id expect your techies to know more about it than i do, i mean u run gaming servers do u not? all i ask is for a bit of clear advice and someone who has installed it b4 to guide me in installing it or get it running on our server themselves.
ive emailed, contacted various people on irc posted on this forum, still no further than where i started. Great

Ok, as I didn't get a response from you on IRC here's a copy of the message I sent in case you missed it:
[17:50]<Say_Ten> Ok, let's sort this DMW2 issue out. The thing is still in private beta. If you're not in cmohl then you can't get your handson it. So unless you're in that league and can get a copy of DMW2 wecan't put it on your server. You'll have to wait until the public releasewhich is slated for 2 weeks time.
[17:56]<Say_Ten> Right, I need to go cook dinner, be back in an hour or so...
[17:59]* TM|Bukem has quit IRC (Ping timeout)

Yep, cheers m8, my irc client crashed and i didnt notice, typical
So when it is released can someone help me get it on the server yea? i assume there wont be any further problems once its out of beta stage and into full version.

Yeah, should be no problems at all once it's released. There'll be a nice DMW2 mod available in Clan Forge then :)

Im glad its sorted now, but I would just like to add that at no point were we giving you the run-around. Our admins are not all knowing about every game. If we pass you on to someone else its because we believe they are more able to help you.

if you actually knew what you were talking about, you would realise DMW 2 doesnt use anything serverside...

i have no clue like i said, doesnt that suck tho? perhaps the people who make it are retarded, making the "best" anti-cheat, but not making it serverside seems to defeat the whole point of it. Even i know that. i dont want to have to leave the scanner running on my pc all the time just so the server can be cheat free, thats so stupid, they should make a version so it can be put on the server moh is on and left running all the time.
gehyness!

Perhaps you would like to code, test and release your own free MoH:AA anti-cheat tool then?
If you bothered to read documentation about DMW2, you wouldn't have even needed to start this thread, be abusive to the MPUK team and generally be a bit of a 'tard. :p:

Uh. Old thread. Was it really necessary to bring it back up just to insult someone who asked a valid question. Then appologised for sounding a touch aggressive, and making a mistake?

Yes, I helped to beta test DMW2 in the BWMOHL and the guys who coded it have worked tremendously hard.
To then see posts completely dissing the tool with such negative and sensless comments deserve a slap.
