Hi all,
If anybody can help, I'd really appreciate it...
I'm connecting to Socom Online via a Netgear DG824M wireless router/firewall.
I've added the PS2 IP address to the firewall DMZ, and I can connect and play online ok.
However, as hard as I try, I can't get the headset to work online.
I've verified that the headset is working, by trying it in the offline singleplayer game, and it works great.
So, when I'm online, I hold down "o" on the joypad, I get the "beep". I say my message, let go of the "o" button, then I get another beep. The speech icon appears onscreen implying that it's being broadcast. However, I hear nothing. When I ask a question, and after it's been "broadcast", I will see the speech icon come up again, implying that somebody is answering my question...but I don't hear them
I've read many posts about port forwarding, but i can't seem to get it to work.
Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
Cheers,
