I want to get an idea of what people think to bringing their Xbox and some way to watch it (TV, PC, etc) to a LAN Party. I know cyberdude has been experimenting with this.

I think that maybe there ought to be support (optional or dedicated) for people who want to system link their xboxes to play all the cool multiplayer games out there at LAN parties...

If people have LinkSys compatible wireless bridge connectors for their Xbox then I could take my Switch/Router so it wouldn't need cabling. :)

yep, Xbox's have been networked at the past 3 Dreamlan's, and haven't caused a problem yet. I can't see it being a problem on a larger scale, ie. the i-series.

yea M$ has done something nice and there have been no network/traffic issues.....

Xboxes make an ideal chill out area from hard core PC gaming.....

you may or may not know... but the TV output is an ongoing problem since I don't want to bring an Xbox, a PC (and usual accessories) AND a TV to a LAN party.

Cyber: Did you use lots of TVs ? Or did you manage to find the RCA to 15pin DSub convertors that are available?

I want to know because I have an XBox and I would very much like to join in some multiplayer mayhem with it....

LAN Parties are the best way of playing (wolfenstein) without the lagg you get on the 'net.
