orbital strikes, worth it or just a waste of outfit points?

Only ever seen it once, got 15 kills but i wondered if it's worth using how many outfit points it is to use it....

Definitely worth it! We have multiple high-level CR SLs in our outfit, and the ability to fire off multiple orbital strikes means that when we do a hotdrop on a base, the courtyard defence has to either be tight as a drum, or risk getting torn apart.

It's nice to be able to take on magriders and vanguards (yes, we're TR) and be able to take them out without having to carry AV all the time.

It adds a brillian tactical element to the game.

yeah TR are blatently the best :) although i'm on my own atm so i can't exactly see many orbital strikes going on :rolleyes:
how many points does it take off the outfit though?

I'm not sure myself, as I've never bothered to stop and count ;)

However, our outfit makes more outfit points in an hour than we could possibly use up in orbital strikes, so we're OK :)
