As if Battlefield 2 wasn't good enough already, EA have released a beta of the mod development kit for their super-smash-hit FPS - allowing budding amateur developers to use the engine of BF2 to create their own modifications to the game.

There are 3 files - the Dev-kit Beta, The lightmap samples and the tutorials, with the lightmap samples weighing in at a whopping 710MB. Never fear however as our super-fast FTP will ensure that you get your hands on it as quick as possible so you you can get to work and make something really kick-ass.

Personally I'm going to make a mod that gives tanks Dixie horns.

As if Battlefield 2 wasn't good enough already, EA have released a beta of the mod development kit for their super-smash-hit FPS - allowing budding amateur developers to use the engine of BF2 to create their own modifications to the game.

There are 3 files - the Dev-kit Beta, The lightmap samples and the tutorials, with the lightmap samples weighing in at a whopping 710MB. Never fear however as our super-fast FTP will ensure that you get your hands on it as quick as possible so you you can get to work and make something really kick-ass.

Personally I'm going to make a mod that gives tanks Dixie horns.
