Hello to all.

open question to Multiplay.

The IBM hire kit, what does it come with?.

The reason for asking is we have aprox 10 Days left, now I presume that we should bring our own headphones, but, I guess the vast majority of us hiring IBM kit would expect it to be included, but I thought I would ask so as to make people aware of exactly what they are getting.

So, I presume, that hire of kit includes:-
base unit
Monitor (flat preferably)
keyboard
Mouse
preconfigured network config (prob by me)
and operating system (prob win 98 OSR2) only..

And that will be it.
So, I presume that if you hire an IBM you will need to bring your own headphones / Joystick / Wheel etc etc etc & drivers for such..

now the reason for asking, is not that I am thick, unlike cabe but so that if I am right, then we can inform people beforehand so on the day they dont complain about no headphones etc etc.

This may be a wasted post, but i thought it worth mentioning to save a few disappointed peeps on the day.

Your dogsbody and general b33ch..

You should get told all this in the IBM emails. However, just to clarify it all the IBMs come as the following:

IBM desktop unit with minimum 17" IBM monitor on top.
Keyboard
Mouse
Win98 bare install
Network all preconfigured

The only things you need to bring are:

- your games to install on the machine
- your own keyboard and mouse if you want to stick to your own
- any additional controllers you wish to use (wheels, joysticks, etc.)
- headphones

Hope this helps http://www.multiplay.org/ubb/smile.gif
