Electronic Arts have released a statement regarding the patch released for <i>Battlefield 2</i> a week ago. Read more about it <a href="http://www.eagames.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/editorial.jsp?src=communityupdate_070805"><b>here</a></b>.
Under advisement from EA and due to the on going issues with the 1.01 patch all Multiplay UK and EA UK servers have been rolled back to version 1.0 which means that clients will need to be reinstalled to revert back to their original retail version.
Electronic Arts have said a fix is being worked on and will be ready within a matter of days, in the meantime re-installing will not affect your rank or medals in any way.
