Hmmm,
have any of you as of yet purchased the newtowrk thing to play online games?

i know it only cam out yesterday but still...

i bought SOCOM, and its bloody superb, i can wait to play it online, i cant get the adapter till tuesday tho. :(

and i had a question for anyone who does:

does anone know if ill have to sign up a new ISP?
or can i use my existing one with Eclipse?
ive tried some research, but im to lazy and nobody has provided a definite answer.
Im assuming i could just use my current one but does anyone know otherwise?

Anyways, SOCOM rocks, buy it, talk to the AI, and be marvelled when it understands, i thaught it woud be all glitchy n stuff.

the only dissapointment i had was when 'shoot the f**ker' didnt work!

Hmm... bought SOCOM + Broadband adaptor on Thursday and took it all back to Game on Sunday, 'cos it was pants IMHO!

I only played offline... got as far as mission 5 (of 12) and was very unimpressed with the game... nowhere near as good a game as Ghost Recon or Desert Storm. Very limited weaponry, really poor team-mate AI (the number of times I lost Boomer 'cos he stood there taking point blank shots without returning fire and, yes, I had fire-at-will on!). I hated not being able to leave my team mate behind, whilst I went stealthing off... he gave my position away a number of times.

For a PS2 game that has been raved about for months I found it a very poor offering and I disliked it so much it went back without me even opening the broadband adaptor. I've never been so grateful for Games returns policy!

yeah but the emphasis here is on the microphone, not the game itself.

talkin to stuff thats not alive rules.

More newer cooler games shall appear, for ur adapter, dont ditch it yet!

I NEED twisted metal online! :D
