lvl 10 shields

just done a spot of flying about at all the major pirate and hunter bases and i cannot for the life of me find the other 2 lvl 10 shields i am using the brigadine lvl 10 i would like an adv barrier or one of those champion shields i have seen a few people using anyone know where i kight be able to procure one of these 2 items????

I think you must get the Adv. Champion shiled from a wreck or possibly as a drop from outcasts or bounty hunters in Omega Alpha?

I bought mine off another player - and he said he had got it because the server had been reset.

Well it seems you can't get it anywhere without hacking your .ini files so someone must have been naughty! Then that player can sell them onward...

Anyway I bought an Adv. Brigadine Shield instead and lost the Champion when I blew up!

i got the bridgine i think and it doesn't seem to defelt too many shots even from say lvl 7weapons. i thought it would b better than it is.

If you get hit by a Tizona del Cid (SP?) it'll eat through your shield in a couple of hits.

The Brigadine can take a lot of hits from low lvl guns (especially when the britonia police don't like you!)

You can get the champion sheild at a station in omega 7. forgotten the name, but you can get it by buying the Hammerhead. If you have alot of cash, it's no problem. If your a newbie, get the hammerhead before you get the Eagle, Titan, or Sabar. the hammerhead will probably be 370k, i think.

i would imagine that requires you to be on the good side of the bountie hunters then - the hammerhead is thier main-stay fighter - One would assume in this case the following would apply

*bribe them back to nuetral
*Buy the ship and then re-equip with lesser shield
*Trade in the hammerhead back for your fav ship
*Then go kill the innoce... errr, bad ppl

you don't need to bribe the Bounties, come to omega 5 and kill the hessains there, they come 2 at a time, and every minuet. So you'll keep your rep with the corsairs and get the bounties on your side. you'll get some cash on the side for the Hessains weapons you sell.

Well i would'nt bother chaps - information seems to be errrm - wrong - the hammerhead came with some dorky level 7 Shield - i checked all other bases too in the area - dead end im afraid.

Sorry guys, the only lvl. 10 shield you can get is the Adv. Brigadine Shield , the others are not sold, dropped or picked up in wrecks.

[NTA] Marvin seems to have a nack for buying h4xed gear then. first the champion and then the advanced barrier, both of which you cant buy, find or pick up.

The advanced barrier is not that much of an upgrade tho, only a few hundred above the brigadine. The champion however has something stupid like 11200 with a regen of 245

Yes I did have a champion shield that I bought off another player, but when I found out you couldn't get them without ha>< I got rid of it.

I don't think I have ever seen anyone with a barrier shield...
