Restoring online account

I have recently bought a new computer and installed it and such, but i deleted my c drive in the process and when i went to play singleplayer ir ealised that my saves had been deleted.

I tried to connect to the mpuk server and found that my char name was in use, showing that the account is still there, how do i restore the account on my computer and get access to my character on the server ?

Unless you can get to the registry of your old user on your old C:\ drive, you can't

i always assumed the sp char was client side but the mp characters were held server-side.

i really wish this game was based on a cd-key rather than some random key.. having to take a note of a really long code somewhere is just annoying :/
