Hellgate: London is a new decent looking FPS-MMO-RPG (!?) kind of game taking place in a near future post-apocalyptic London. The game is produced by the makers of the famous Diablo series and might just bring a little undead life to the FPS genre that hasn’t really surprised anyone lately.

The story of the game is that demons from hell have opened portals to earth and mankind is fighting a loosing battle. The last vestiges of humanity have joined forces and are fighting back the demon invasion; using London’s underground network of tunnels the human rebellion forces attempts to kick the invading demons of earth and back to hell.
In the games single player campaign the player will form a small party of humans in the tunnel system and equip his/hers character with weapons, armour etcetera and then head out to clean the streets of London and at same time completing quests as well as gathering intelligence for the under ground resistance.

The game hasn’t been blessed with an official release date but it is still in early stages of production and it isn’t planed to be released for at least another year.
