Server Software?

As this is a Sony release, I very much doubt there will be any software made available for LAN events. Not to mention the amount of harware that might be required to sustain a game!

But besides all this, does anyone know if there are any plans for server side software being made available or is this gonna be a Sony "money printing machine" game?

Unlikely that anything official will come out.
Maybe, just MAYBE someone puts up an effort and makes a software like the one used to run personal Ultima Online shards.

Cant see the point really when there is Tribes/2 for smaller scirmishes.

We're in talks with Ubi Soft right now to try and get this game along to i16. It's going down quite well with SOE atm, and it looks like a few of the developers are well up for flying over.

To be quite honest, Planetside is worth going to i16 for alone, nevermind everything else :)
