Firstly, how much is it to get into these things?
where would i sleep, eat etc.?
(also is the floor an option for sleeping?)
how much would it cost to book a PC?
and how do i do so?
do i need any consent from my parents?
(im 14)

Luke,

Full information on the event can be found at the i3 site. Follow the link below to go straight there:

http://www.multiplay.co.uk/i3/index.html

The cost for 3 days is £40 if you bring your own PC. We do have a number of IBM machines available for people who are unable to bring their own, and will be posting a notice asking for requests for these machines shortly. Keep an eye out on the news page for the i3 event.

Sleeping on the floor is fine, if not expected at events of this kind, although there are a number of cheap B&Bs nearby.

If you are under 16 you will need signed consent from your parents in order to participate in the event. Forms for this go out well in advance of the event and you need to get one signed and brough with you to enable you to check in at the event.

Cheers,

Definatly worth attending, get there if you can. See if your parents will put some money towards it or get a paper round. Take pictures of the inside of your PC and sell them to spotty nerds. Anything.

I personally got a job with them to get me free entry. }:-):

I think that's it. Can't you get paid for cleaning your parents car or something?

I personally found the cheapest way was to pass me a-levels, graduate from uni with comp sci degree,
blag a job as a web developer for money, then blag a job with Wizzo as web dev for free entry to lans,
although i think thats a very long winded way of doing it, youd be suprised how many have http://www.multiplay.org/ubb/wink.gif
