THIS IS AN OFFICIAL UMBRELLA™ CORPORATION NOTICE
As of 13/05/03, the Sigma-13 System of the Sirius Sector will come under official rule of the Umbrella™ Corporation. Permitted by the 832 GMG Security and Welfare Convention to secure and govern the system as we see fit, the following terms, conditions and services will be applied as of the above date.
Services
The following services will be available for any Freelancer who wishes to make use of them in any way, shape or form. There will though of course be a small fee for some services, dependant on the service and the level required.
1. Weaponry Retail
Any weapons that we have in stock will be available to you straight away at a competitive price. If any weaponry is not in stock an order can be made which should be completed within 24-48 hours. If you are not happy with your purchase you may request a 50% retail price refund on any weaponry with no questions asked.
2. Weaponry Hire
If you require a particular weapon for any use - whether it be pre-testing or bounty hunting - and you do not wish to keep the weapon permanently, then we can offer you any weapon for hire for 10% of its retail price per hour. A deposit of 50% of its retail value must be paid on the spot, which on return will be fully refunded. If the weapon is not returned, and no thorough explanation can be given as to why then your deposit will be sustained and your ship will be found and destroyed.
3. Equipment Retail
Any equipment that we have in stock will be available to you straight away at a competitive price. If any equipment is not in stock an order can be made which should be completed within 24-48 hours. If you are not happy with your purchase you may request a 50% retail price refund on any equipment with no questions asked. The following equipment is or should available: Shields, Thrusters, and Commodities at an extremely competitive price.
4. Weaponry Storage
We also offer a cheap, safe storage service for any weapons which are un-mounted and you wish to keep safe. We must limit each Freelancer to a maximum storage capacity of 5 weapons. All weapons of any class can be stored for 1,000 credits for any period of time, though you will be charged an extra 1,000 credits for each time that you remove and/or add that weapon from storage. In the unlikely event that your weapon is lost, we will give you a 50% retail price cash back, and a new replacement of that particular weapon.
5. Free Weaponry\Equipment Repair
Due to our understanding with the GMG, any weaponry or equipment that gets damaged on your travels will be repaired and returned to you on the spot, for free.
6. Bounty Hunting
If you have a target, whether it be a Freelancer or a Faction Member, our elite team of bounty hunters can eliminate this threat. Prices of the service will be agreed on order due to the differing targets and circumstances.
7. Information and Locations
If you wish to know information on certain aspects of the Sirius Sector and/or locations of systems, planets, stations or jump holes then we can offer you this at very competitive prices. Again, these prices will be agreed on order due to the difference in information and locations wanted.
8. Employment
If you wish to join the Umbrella™ Corporation and carry out objectives, jobs and services please see myself or a member of staff in the Sigma-13 System. Jobs can range from cargo transportation to bounty hunting. Good payment and heavy rewards will be offered for jobs well done. Jobs however may or will be temporary and should not be relied on for a permanent source of income.
Terms and Conditions
Due to our understanding with the GMG, the following terms and conditions will be applied to Freelancers travelling through or to the Sigma-13 system. These terms and conditions will be applied in order to pay for the repair and sustaining of GMG Gas Miners and other equipment, Trade Lanes, Stations and Gas Cloud Patrols.
1.a Taxes¹
Taxes will be applied to all² Freelancers travelling through or to the Sigma-13 System. These will vary in price dependant on Ship, Weaponry and/or Cargo, though assume the following figures as maximums.
- Entry and Travel Through the System - Approx. 5,000 Credits
- The Carrying of Cargo - Approx. 500 Credits per Cargo
1.b Military Action
Any military action that takes place within the Sigma-13 system which:
[1] - Causes Damage to GMG Gas Miners and other Equipment, Trade Lanes, Stations and/or Gas Cloud Patrols.
[2] - Causes Disruptions to any of the above.
must be paid for. Amounts will vary dependant on the amount of damage or disruption caused but should not exceed 50,000 credits in the worst of circumstances.
2.a Security
Any Freelancer(s) travelling through or to the Sigma-13 System will be given the utmost protection from other factions and/or Freelancer(s)³. If this is not desired you must inform a member of Umbrella™ Corporation on entry into the system.
2.b Staff
The following Freelancers are apart of the Umbrella™ Corporation and are authorised to carry out any of the above terms and conditions and/or jobs and services as they see fit.

If you are approached by a Freelancer who offers you an Umbrella™ Corporation Service or you are given what you believe an unfair service and/or treatment please contact a member of staff listed above.
3. Breaching Terms and Conditions
In accordance to the rules and guidelines of the GMG we are authorised to take out any Freelancer who breaks the above rules. The amount of times this occurs and the severity will be dependant on the seriousness of the offence.

¹ Taxes will only be charged at certain times during the hours of 6pm-9pm Weekdays as this is when most damage/disturbance occurs to the GMG workforce.
² Any Freelancer(s) who arrive in the Sigma-13 System who requires our services will not be charged any tax. This does not apply to groups of more than 1 Freelancer.
³ This does NOT apply to any Freelancer(s) who have breached any one of the terms and conditions.
