Escort missions

Is there actually any out there? Like prisoner ship escort or cargo escort missions?

Also what does it mean when you get a guild like Liberty naval flashing green in you rep?

There are no escort missions in the MP, it was a planned feature, but never actually made it into the game. They did add escort missions to the SP plot. Though, of course, there is nothing to stop you charging your m8's for escort services within the game!

i've done a few escort missions for ppl on the server, only charge 500 credits. my alias are Boobie

well if some1 needs escorting i recomend Goolz as he escorted me and he was good.

You can grab a Sabre at the Vogtland base in Dredsen (Red Hessians) and somewhere else which i forget :)

I formatted yesterday and installed freelancer again today. However about 5% into the install it tells me that i cant continue due to either the file being in use or not enough disk space. However, the hdd is almost empty and nothing else would access the file.
I tried to then copy the data on the CD onto my hdd, and it gets stuck on the file called CAD1.CAD, i think it was or maybe CAB1.CAB,

What should i do? the CD is scratched but when installed the game runs perfectly well, how can i get around this? I do own a licence of the game so should i go to Microsoft about it? Or would it be easier to find an installer somewhere?

Could someone possibly upload the CAD1.CAD file (or whatever its called) direct from the CD? its 40Mb i think. Cheers

Cd Problems...

You could contact m$, arrange to send it back to get it replaced it might cost you some dosh .. Or you could find a friend who has the game, borrow the cd from them, *install it, give them their cd back and use yours to play the game with.

* You could do something else at this stage to ensure you have a good copy for the future.
