Restarting server on regular basis?

I must have been to most wrecks on this thing and everyone I go to has been done already.

I just wondered if it would be possible to say reset server at a certain time once every couple of days or once a week. That way we would know when wrecks are gonna be full and get the goodies.

Just a suggestion... thought I'd see what you guys thought.

doesnt resetting the server trash all our accounts?

Nope, your accounts stay intact. Its just alleged that restarting the server re-populates the wrecks.

Yeah as Winbar says accounts will stay ok as has happened over last weeks server changes. Much restarting and no problems.

I have found it mentioned on just about every forum for Freelancer that in MP the only way to get the weapons to respawn is server restarting.

All I'm thinking is if they said for example that every saturday at 1.00am they restart the server so if you are dedicated you can make sure you are in the right system to get the goodies if you want to.

Im just frustrated. I'm stuck with my 4 nomad cannons and want a couple of diamondbacks to pull a little more punch.

Interested in an admins opinion here??
