are these units any good, and do you have to use the specifies headset with it, or could you use a separate mic and headphones, i wanted one but dont know any1 who has one, do they work with bf1942, UT and ut2k3?

I'm pretty sure you can use any set of headphones / mic as the base unit has normal mini-stereo jacks.

I use a different headset with mine and it works fine. The mic works fine with bv1942 using teamspeak2 dunno about using the microsoft software though.
