Beta refers to the control web interface that we are implementing for clans. Everything else about the service is production spec. It is likely when the beta ends that prices will go up slightly, although that will very much depend on the market conditions at that time. For example, if everyone else has dropped their prices to our beta levels it;s going to be unlikely that we raise them ;)
I would say the beta will last another 3 months at least. It's no small task here and we anticipate continuous development of the software and service as a whole.

thanks
another q
why / how are your prices so low unlike barrysworld or jolt?
is it because qix.co.uk are cheap? i noted all the people who use qix.co.uk have low prices.

Our prices are good value because we don't believe gamers are getting a good deal out there at the moment. Some of the other big players in the industry have had pretty much a monopoly and as such you can expect prices to be high. Now there is more competition in the industry, especially among the smaller companies, you can expect prices to come down.
These are beta prices, and it is likey they will go up by £10-20 after the end of the beta. However, this is still highly competitive and we believe we provide an unrivalled quality of service!

Ah ok...
Its just the following hosts:
savageservers.com
warservers.com
choosehosting.net
fragarena.com
4u-servers.co.uk
All seem to be hosted at exactly the same place as multiplay.co.uk, and there prices are just abut exactly the same.
It seems a little odd to me to have all these hosts to be at the same place as you and have prices the same.
Care to shed some light on this matter?

I know some of the guys who run the other companies you mention, but that's about as far as it goes. Some others buy connectivity from QiX, but others buy from elsewhere.
All I can say about the pricing is the joy of a competitive market :)
