Clan T-shirts

Ok i dont know about you but i am not that happy about the t-shirts.. the embroidery is superb and even the names are ok but the quotes seem to be causing a problem.

A) - they look crap
and
B) they are not lasting - seem to be fading off on some shirts

i am going to write a letter of complaint and see if i can get anything out of them. (some form of compensation... seeing as the cost £520 odd tbh)

but in order to back up my complaint i will need photos to show what happened to the quotes over the weekend..

I want to get this letter of by wednesday at the VERY latest to prove that it happened in a short space of time and that they havnt been washed over and over again.. so PLEASE take a snap and send them to

thanks guys.. its worth chasing them. And i am disappointed more due to the fact that i have used this company allot to do company clothing which i must say seem to be of a better standard (lasting up to a year at the least)

Its not all a waste though as we SHOULD be able to reuse the embroidery disc. and Lyn is looking into getting a machine anyway.

but i need your feedback please (my shirts fine. but i only had it on for about 4 hours before going home)

the quote is faded and is actually peeling off ive wore it for a total of about 10 hours

I didn't see any of your shirts close up. But from a distance the quotes looked like they were printed on gaffer tape and stuck on :(
I would be very annoyed and expect them to be reprinted in the same way as the names.

it wasnt as easy as that though...

as some of the quotes were too long to be printed indavidually thats why that had to be an image... i was ok with this and agreed... but i was expecting BETTER quality. (i.e - a image that ACTUALLY lasted)

Update on the shirts after washing, because i'm a lazy person i machine washed them on a very low temp, the quotes are still intact, but starting to fade and i suspect after a couple of washes they well go totally:(

Mine was only slightly damaged after the LAN and it's in the wash at the moment. I took pics before and will after too if it looks worse

1 machine wash and the quote actually fully came off. I now have a tshirt with my name on the back (which actually looks better ;)

I have to admit I thought the text was a joke when I first saw it. Looked like the textbox hadn't been changed to the background colour. I would deffo complain, I can be an expert witness if required. :)

tbh mine is still ok...a bit of pealing on 1 corner of the quote "box" but it aint too bad.

It doesn't look like they were printed properly. For example compare to the MPUK staff shirts, which were done by our longstanding printers in Edinburgh (yeah I first started using them when I lived up there, and haven't been arsed to change as they give good service). They properly screenprint the names, rather than this transfer process the BF1942 guys appear to have used.

Have them Gifted... HAVE THEM!!!

well so far i have a couple of photo's from squire that dont really show allot...

comon guys if you wanna complain just send me a snap! i know for sure that some of you have said that the quotes have practically fallen off but i need proof..

its up to you... ive asked about 6 times now but i need photo's if you want me to take this further

Do you want me to keep ewashing it a bit? Not actually worn it since i15, but I'll stick it in the wash and see what happens. It's already had one wash, and was still fine

Well mine has now been washed. And its worse.
The black of the Quote is beginning to fade, but whats worse is that the flock lettering on my name is beginning to peel!
Okay thats fixable, but still not on.

Unfortunately, I cant take any more photos right now. I dont have the camera. But Ill bring it to stratty so people can see. I suggest those that are coming bring their shirts with them and we take photos there.
