Psym now says (via Txt msg) he will be unavailable and apologies.

I will be around if needed (haven't got any l33t Gazala tactics though!) so its 1 out and 1 in :)

Now I need to leave work and set my PC up...

Axis:
Well, what can i say, GREAT start troops. We took the repair pad and contested their forward base pretty much simultaneously. Having cut off any hope they had of a quick counter offensive, the tanks rolled forward to help out the contested flag, and the middle town was swiftly taken under our wing, and we started to make them bleed. The hard part done, we had the 'simple task' of holding onto all that we'd plundered, they obviously hadnt read the program, and were in no mood to let this round go. Throwing joint tank strikes and multiple HALO's at every link in the chain, we held on vigilantly. With each member of the clan pulling their weight (even bugs) we inflicted serious damage on allied forces and managed to fend off XDC.
Speacial thanks too, Lyn and Jerky for holding the middle village with the tenacity that my name demands, Cata and afty for for keeping the skies relatively free, and informing us of where their C&C style tank rushes would be coming from, and the troops in The south east for tracking down and exterminating haloer's with extreme prejudice

Allies:
With some problems with XDC dropping players, the 2nd half was delayed slightly. But by no means were we in for a repeat of the first round,
Xdc ran at us from the start, and in the opening minutes we managed to swap flags in the south east and lose the repair pad. with this minor setback, we pulled up our socks and set to work, using great bombing runs by afty, and the fish out of water that was catachan in a tank, we swiftly took back all the south east flags, and contested the middle. With the defence of our newly aquired property, against a more infantry based enemy, we were at times swamped, with us losing the repair pad to 4 sneaky AT'ers at one point. The middle village remained a heated battle throughout the round with several airstrikes called into cleanse the area. But genrally the round revolved around us countering everything XDC could muster, and we did. Great game peeps

Summary:

This is the best ive ever seen the clan play on gazala, good show all. Hope Nj recovers and gets his cd key back. Clearly i cant write AARs and hopefully will be donated free literacy lessons by the more educated memebers of the team (sorry).

Medals:

a blunt bic razor for Jerky, for managing to take off a troopers head, with the wing of his plane.

a jeep is mightier then the pen badge for 10acious, for countless succesful jeep suicides, and illteracy skills

a powerful pat on the back for andyf, for removing any, and all, large metallic objects from the skies with scary efficiency

a tablespoon of calpol for njoroge, for staying with us, and listening to comms even tho he couldnt play

sorry if i missed any1 out, buts it late and i suck.

gg wp thx all.

Fantastic AAR 10acious - well played mate, thank you very much.

When I go away for my skiing hol I intend to set up a private internet server on my machine to lock down my CD key - hopefully whoever tea-leafed it will assume it's invalid and that today was just luck.

Well played guys

i dont think that team was using any comms at all, i halo'd the mid town and manzooka'd 3 enemy tanks up the rear, not 1 of them appeared to tell the others i was there.

good AAR 10

Wp everyone. Sorry I pulled out late, there was a security alert at Uxbridge station.

... also our home connection is down until at least after the skiing hol while it gets switched to a different provider.

Hey guys, just thought I'd pop by and say well played on Monday and thanks for the good clean games :)

That was our 2nd competitive game in bf (just our luck to get u and PR in our first matches  ), we really enjoyed the experience, and hopefully we can put what we picked up from u into practice in future games. If ever you're looking for some lighthearted practice, feel free to look us up (#xdcuk on quakenet) and we could maybe have a game (fuelled by a few cans even ;)).

Oh and as someone pointed out we were having difficulty getting our comms up and running but hey what can u do :) It was a fun game and thanks for waiting after our drops in game 2, that was much appreciated.

Good luck in the league guys, and look out for that PR crowd...or at least pray u don't get them in a map with planes!

See you around

Alzir
