Northern LAN

As I live in Newcastle (upon Tyne) travelling down to Newbury is a bit of a slog.... would Mutliplay consider having a LAN event further up north... Newcastle would be perfect :D .... there is a race course in Gosforth (It's close to the A1 (ish - about 1 or 2 mile)), Or even in Leeds.

i second the call for a mpuk lan in leeds...... good access north /south/east / west by train/rail and air. large local population (leeds manchester bradford york etc) and a damn site easier for alot of people to get to than newbury etc.

and who knows if mpuk hold 1 lan up north it may persude people to travel down to the larger i series.

and there are plenty of large hotels and such around leeds that would cater for the needs of gamers. (i actually have no evidence to back up that last statement but id of thought it wouldnt be a problem)

Speak to me in there about a LAN in leeds. After Newcastle FYA-LAN has hosted our 1st event we will do one in Leeds as its only 2 hrs in a car from Newcastle.

We need a Date and Location and a few other things but I dont see why we wouldnt be able to do this. :)
