My Toughts - Copy and pasted for westlan forums. Remember i work for a large isp, so i do know how good ISP's are at ****ing people over
Well, i'm not too keen on it at the moment, its a new company offering a too good to be true price. IMHO they are unlikely to have the nessacery support structure to run the service or to help when things go wrong, as they inevitably do
Its based on BT IPStream with 50:1 contention, which other isp's will soon be able to get as well, which offer better support and are names i've heard of and know they offer support
If an offer is too good to be true, it usually is
This is a service which is not rate adaptive, ie you need to be within 3.5k of the exchange.
Its also a 12 month contract, then 3 months notice to cease, and has a "No more than 60% utalisation" rule in the T's and C's, so likelyhood is if you go over that you will be forced to switch to either a higher speed product or a buisness product on lower conention, the other option being you cease the account and coff up the remainder of the 12 month contract.
