Strange Request / Wtf

Can someone take me down a camera tripod for leet manual focus/aperture/timing digicam which i have sitting on my desk. Its great for night shots, just if you don't keep it still, that becomes a pile of blur...
I'm going by train and its not too practical for me to take one :)

I have an old (cheap) camera tripod which I don't use any more. I think it's still floating around. I can bring it if neccessary.
