Nintendo confirms a new console

Link above, intresting enough, they say the problems they had with selling the cube, was due to the fact they released it so late after the PS2..

I wonder if that means this new console will have a worldwide release, instead of Japan first, USA 6 months later, UK 6 months after that ??.. I doubt it. :rolleyes:

At least the GC brought down the prices of the other consoles, even if it isn't doing particulary well itself. To be honest, i haven't actually played on my GC for ages.

Hmm, I still want a GC, but it's pretty low on my wish list right now. If Mario Kart lives up to it's hype, it may jump up to the top ;)

If you haven't played on your GC recently you clearly need to buy metroid prime :)

Zelda looks really good - plus you get two updated versions of ocarina if you pre-order.

Aha, you are obviously forgetting Super Monkey Ball (and the soon to be Released Super Monkey Ball 2).

This game has given me and my mate pi*sed fun for months and months and months and months and months and months.....

It's funny, the most girl friendly game I've so far encountered is Goldeneye. A load of people I know who never played console games got into it even with the tricky (for non-gamers) control system. I think it was the evil shooting scientists in the hand for no good reason that did it :)

The actual main single player part of Super Monkey Ball is crap though. The party games etc are great fun, but the main game is, well, ****e.
