And Giles r u sure there are no kitchen facilities available you always have had them and they are almost a necessity, eg. microwave, fridge 4 drinks. Oven is not required.

Apologies, I should have elaborated further.

The only 'kitchen' at the venue is the food tech rooms. While I could probably blag us access to them, i'm not going to because I am not prepared to clean 10 cookers and a large room after the lan!

However a fridge is available.

I can't remember if there is a microwave in the staff room or not - but i shall have a check and if not shall ATTEMPT to source one for the lan.

I shall also make sure there is an urn of hot water available for hot drinks / pot noodles etc.

The main difference really will just be the lack of an oven.

oh dont worry about the oven mate. dominos will supply the pizza cravings. ppl will only want basic kitchen equipment. microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer.

Showers are a maybe still. There are showers in the PE changing rooms just over the corridor but I have no clue if they work AND will dispense hot water or not!

I've never known them used before.

It's on my list of stuff to check.

giles, in regards to the cooker, true we may not need it but you could always just do a DO NOT CROSS sing (like it would work but hay) and jsut say if its a mess then no1 i leaving its YOUR event not theres! but that all depends on the skoll

Your dead right, nobody would pay any attention.

I know that it's totally pointless asking em to clean up after themselves - becuase I know it won't happen.

As a result, the facility will not be available. There will be enough cleaning up to do as it is!

It also means opening up more of the school to actually get to the TF room - which means more people 'exploring' - which I don't really want.

All in all, you can make do with the chippy.

Regarding the use of a PS2 if you purchase a ticket that allows both LAN party access and Consoles you could do this.

Also the access to areas of the school other than the toilets and hall will be kept to a minimum because it is still a school and they wouldent want things like pupils work getting damaged.

The hall is HUGE live in there please.

When I find out exactly how the consoles are going to be structured i'll get back to you. The possibility of a combined ticket for PC's and Consoles is a very strong possibility - but that would only apply to those wishing to have a seat in both areas. However the issue with using a console and TV card is that of A: Space B: Power C: Integration with other console users.

Space is not a problem really as if you want to have your console with you then bring a table and tell the set uprs that you want a gap for a table (if thats possible) and well if you want to integrate then dont use a pc card :P

There are toilets, im sure you don't need pictures. There will be a sleeping area - where we decide to put it is irrelevant really.
