The event will start at 6pm on Friday the 7th of Feb and will end at 6pm (ish) on Sunday the 9th of Feb 2002.

We have room for 50; and have several announcements coming soon too!

The venue is easily walkable from Andover train station and has good access by road with plenty of parking space.

At the moment we're looking at doing 8pm Friday evening through to 6pm Sunday evening. We're gonna need 4 hours to set up on Friday, and we can only have it from 4pm.

I can be made availe for set up, also im thinkg that 50 people 1 hall split in 2, 4 little beavers setting up not 4 hours but id rather go with your judgement.

I dont think you can really judge the amount of time that it takes to setup a LAN party until you have actually done one yourself (or been in charge of setting one up youself).

I manage to set up ScotLANs in 2 hours but I dont really have much time to think about what I am doing.. 4 hours would be fantastic as you can actually stand and think about how you are laying it out. I know this probably doesn't seem very important from your point of view but it makes the difference if you are fault finding in the network.

we done a fair few brains-lans and me are some where around what 2 or 3 FBL events and 4 Padworth events, mind you the padworth events whernt set up they were thrown into a order!

I think we mite do the structure of the last LAN as it worked well and provided a quick and easy movment and set up plan.

Flix, please retrieve your head from your arse. You know **** ALL about setting up for a LAN. You are not Staff, no matter how much you pretend to be. We have 3 main staff, 1 event helper (Lev) and 2 Web Munkis (Mingtea and DrFist). That is all. You are not staff, and you do not suggest how we set up the event. You don't know what cables we have, the layout of the hall, where we want people, where servers are, what we're doing for tables, where the consoles are going to be or anything. Like you said, Padworth LAN is an example of how not to do LAN parties, and whilst we're setting up for FBLs you're always dicking about in the kitchen. Grow up.

I understand that but thats just the thing ive been with FBL since its birth the reason is Brains-Lans is my brother i can build a LAN to the same degree of FBL but i dont want to because i love FBL events but what im doing is putting in my comments, and mayeb i do soudn like a staff member because GeeDee appointed me as a "yellow shirt" at FBL5 i helped with set up and techy support then clear up im a yellow shirt so to speak, so I voice my opinion in the manner i think is approprite.
