3rd preson view

Has any1 tryed useing 3rd person the console command is

behindview 1 and 0 to return to first person

ive tryed but it dont work for me :confused: and it would be really usefull in www.deathball.net imo

ne ideas or conformation that is doesnt work would be wicked

This did work. i used it before the first patch as a bind when you hit the q key (when it switches to the translocator cam) to move to 3rd person thus giving you a better view of where the translocator is. they obviously considered this cheating and stopped you doing it in after the patch...

im not sure if they stopped it alltogether. seeing as behindview 0/1 is the right command though perhaps they have..

It hasn't been disabled online, it has only been added as an option in the server preferences to if it has been activated or not. All public servers I play on have behindview disabled because of the LOS (line of sight) that is activated with it. For example if you switch to behindview and then use the lightning gun, so long as you are on the same level as your opponent and are looking at them, you will get a headshot everytime.
