I doubt that it will be half term because too many people get dragged away on stupid family holidays.
A weekend that isnt half term. We should have all the details out to you by Christmas.
Cheers for the total addiction, makes it worth running these LAN's.

Yeah Brian I think it should be half term. I dont know anyone who goes on family holidays and you are more likely to get more people than on a weekend. You may not get everyone to come on a half term, but I guarantee you'll get even less on a weekend.

No offence Ben, but that is total BS. What makes you tihnk we won't get anyone on a weekend? People have to WORK during the week, most people don't work at weekends, and if they do, they only have to get one or two days off, which is easier for casual staff than full-timers during the week.
It IS a weekend, it has already been decided. WTF is the point of doing it during the week? **** all

You missed the point there. I didn't say that we wouldn't get anyone at a weekend. You would get plenty, but you increase your chances of getting even more during half term. imho. but u know best. :D

How, exactly? What is stopping people coming at a weekend? Nothing! What is stopping people coming during the week? Work! What do people not do at weekend? Work!

what about the people that dont work. eg. people still at school. e.g. me. involving homework.
but being as that, sadly, is the small minority, i suppose your right. its a shame younger people like me dont get into this sort of thing. I know tons of people that could but they dont know about it.
Perhaps you guys should think a little more about local area promotion, when you decide to increase the LAN size of course. Not necassary at the moment.

well then, cant it be the weekend when half term starts? that way none of us skool kids will have to worry about getting back in time for school/getting homework done because the next day will be half term! :p:

I have a 'business meeting' in the pub this Saturday. After that we will be able to see what we can do about getting the venue we are after.
First weekend in half term will be the dates of choice I believe.
:D
