1stly, my appolgies to the clan (if any of you guys are still out there :P) We started off well and best intentions wanted to carry it all on, but it was immediatly aparent both myself and saytens invovlment with MPUk and personal **** was far too much (esp. with i14 so close)
Im going to be chatting to SayTen/Anim re: what and where we go next. I would like to continue the clan, but its very obvious that as soon as i15 is a few months away, we will be faced with the same problem again. So its important we sort this out now, and build on proper foundations :)
The Problem: Clan praccies for ut2k3 clans seems to be a real problem, not just for us, but for other clans as well. Also there are so many different style of plays its again very difficult to find a clan that plays the game, wants to praccy AND plays the right mod. ( i was all excited about setting up a perm praccy with a clan to only find out that they play UT (not 2003) only. an hour wasted :P )
The Solution(?): We had this problem in a previous clan, so we started an A and a B team. and when praccies were few and far between, would play each other, balancing the teams out. sometimes doing random pickings, sometimes playground stylee pickings. and tbh it worked :) So im suggesting that A. we apoint a 2nd non mpuk CL and 2 Team Captains (TC's) (TC's can be a CL too :P)
Then those TC's are responsible for thier team and building it.
That way organising matches, and praccies are not soley left to the CL or me and sayten.
Making announcments on the main website really doesnt work tbh, its nice as a clan managment system, but unless you guys tell me other wise, i think we really should use it as a Presence website, and for recording results. All matches and praccies should be advertised here, in the forums. (works very well for the mpuk BF clan.)
Any thoughts, questions etc. (even if its to say sorry ive found another clan with some leadership and skills) please add :)

Firstly, I'm still up for playing in the clan, count me in.
Secondly, I totally agree about the website. I regularly visit the forums, but not the UT2K3 website (although that may be more to do with the lack of matches ATM). Definately use the forums for news of matches, etc.
Thirdly, I think we need to get organised as far as entering a league goes. I'm here to have fun, winning something would be nice, but I would be really happy just to get on a ladder right now. Why don't we try and figure out:
a) Who still wants to play regularly
b) When players are available
c) What game type do they really want to play
If we can get those details completely sorted out, draw up lists, it looks like it would be easier to put squads together and get entered in some league tables. I think Clanbase was the original idea?
You guys say you are often too busy to organise practice matches due to your dedication to MPUK, but if we were in a league then matches would be organised for us to a certain degree, which would make it a lot easier to get in some regular games.

hmmm, the next few months im sure about my online commitments due to the fact that i will probally be moving (if i can find a job)
The good news is that as soon as i do find a job (and have finished moving) i shall be getting broad band! (ie. be able to actually play UT2k3 online with skill rather than luck ;) )
so i might not be able to join in in any online games for a while, but i'll still try to keep an eye on whats going on within the clan
