Ok ladies, after much discussion with a few people, looks like Epidemic Lans is taking a launch in the North of England. We will soon be in contact with companies to arrange prizes for a couple of tournaments.
Before we can think about contacting the larger companies to arrange prizes we need to see what type of interest there is from the North of the UK.
I will give you a few details on the setup we will be looking at running.
Limit of players :
At the moment we have been looking at up to 50 players to be playing, but if people decide they would be interested we can find a bigger venue to host more players.
Network :
The network will be fully switched, running @ 100mb/sec.
Servers :
Currently being built, I am aware of 1 of them will be xp1800+ 1GB DDr ram.
Location :
North of England, first 1 or 2 lans will be based within the location of Manchester.
Food/Drink :
We will be supplying a limited amount of food and drink, but we will have access to Pizza delivery :D
