I hope I'm not draining the lizard on anyones parade, but in the interest of fairness, I think I should point out that you can find retail 2k server with 5 CALs for around £1000 + VAT.

You'd get it for less too, if you're a regular customer of a supplier, or really shop around / beat them down. The public price though is around £1000 + VAT, so I think £1300 is perhaps a little high?
