Hi, my name is Little Gem.
Although i have been to one insomnia party i have never registered here so i'm just posting to say hello.
I know of some of you, and most of you will know my better half Cyberdrac.
I'm actually in London at the moment, studying but hopefully i will see many of you at i14.
Love xx

He says you have no fax skillz.....are you two the people that always take the p**s out of each other? Every forum needs a few, guess you are it!
I feel at home already! :D
Would also love to know how you lot got your names...how you came up with them etc.
Mine was suggested by a friends dad as a good biker name for me and i liked it so much its my nickname outside 'normal' life.

Oh what have i started! Glad you all replied, makes me feel welcome and not so lost in the big world of computers....i'm not very experienced in this field...only really got into it 17 months ago when i met the missing piece of my jigsaw....go for a curry with friends and come home with a fella! Well officially it was the next day we called ourselves a couple but y split hairs.
So how many of you going to i14, and would you mind if i came to see you to put faces to names?

Steadders
6th November 2002, 22:04
it would be easier to ask who isn't going, since most of us are.

im going :)

just another thing to add, i find that these forums are very unique. i have never seen any quite like them, which is why i devote quite a lot of time to them :)

you see there seems to be just the rite amount of people so that there are never to many people active at one time, but there is normally always some1 online.

also, due to the fact that the majority of us have met at i-events, its like talking to a real group of people, that you actually know, which i have never really seen in other forums.

Hello dear ... nice to see you participating in the wonderful world that we call the Multiplay forums. Does that mean that I have to watch my language now?
Looking forward to i14 ... pleased to hear it ... watch out everyone in the CS amateur tourney she's a natural!
See you at the weekend love of my life.

littlegem
6th November 2002, 22:51
Well i'm going to try, natural at UT and UT2k3 so i guess it cant be too different. But should still watch out cos the enthusiastic attitude over rides the lack of experience!

No i don't ride a bike yet but some of my friends do and i have a growing interest in them. I might one day when i can afford the lessons and get a bike small enough!
And yes i had observed the fact that the topic goes off to one side at times, seen Cyberdrac's often enough!

Errr, whats this lessons thing? It's called a CBT, it's £20 for 1 day.
Vrrrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :D

Mingtea

I think she means proper bike, not a hairdryer on wheels.

littlegem
12th November 2002, 16:05
Exactly, i want a proper bike but no point doing direct access cos bikes would be too big, could just do CBT but still wouldn't have a bike, same as my driving lessons, failed test twice then came to uni and didnt try again cos i thought there is no point if i cant afford a car or find a place to put it. For my 21st i am doing a 'crash' course in driving just so i can drive Cyberdrac and his mates about every so often, or hire a car if i want to go away.
There...thats sets the record straight.
Unless anyone wants to buy me a car and garage for my 21st?!!

Noodleman
12th November 2002, 16:50

http://www.suzukicycles.com/sr_03/cruiser/images/vl1500main.jpg

Gonna be selling it soon if anyone is interested

it's time for something a little more prrrrrrrrrr, i want a harley. :D

Er, not round here, CBT is £85 Inc bike hire.
but if you want to get a proper bike after you pass your test it's best to do the Direct access course

All 3 of the blokes here who've passed recently have gone out and bought R6's, although I can't for the life of me understand why, I find them uncomfortable to ride at "normal"speeds and round here the trafic is too bad to ride them fast very often.

nice empty road, no speed camera's and vroom. Great fun ;)

Maxed out my m8's 700 @ 150mph lol.

and omfg, move.. CBT here is like £20! lol. If your willing to sit on L's for a while it's easier to just put in for tests rather than training days which cost a **** load.

I was quoted £400 for 2 days. Told em to go jump! lol.

Well i know its an old subject but i chose the photo, we had just got back from Ayai Napa and it was only a bikini top and skirt. You guys have dribbled over less! It was the p**s taking afterwards and the nasty comments which is why we posted another one. Promise that i'll be in trousers and and a woolly jumper at i14, just to avoid an uproar (and getting cold!) As for the bikes, as much as like them to look at, Mini's are still my dream, so i'll go for that instead.
Thanx for posting everyone but i think this is dead now, we've said hello etc so you can carry on elsewhere if you like.
