lo all

K i have a Gainward ti4200 128ddr [golden sample]

Very nice card... overclocked to just under the ti4600 speeds. You would think it would eat ut2k3 for breakfast, but no, when theres no1 about in the map i get about 60-70 fps but the moment i start fighting with some it drops to 15-25 fps ?!?!?!?! wtf....

Ive played with the setting but it doesnt seem to make ne difference whether there all up full or rock bottom !?!?!?!! wtf

i would be very very greatfull for some ideas

It's your processor that's limiting you. Stick the settings to full and enjoy the graphics. Also, play with the sound, try running it on "Safe Mode" for the audio, makes a massive difference for me.

I had the same problem with my Radeon 8500. I just knocked the detail from max to high and it sorted it out. :D

Considering UT runs with max graphics on my 1.2gig Athlon with a GeForce 2 I would say its not the processer.

Well okay, I set all the graphics to the highest options, maybe UT didn't display the highest settings in the graphics menu.

Runs ok on my Athlon 900 ok. I was trying to point out that it's not a graphics card issue here. Seriously, try the sound options, putting hardware acceleration on seems to add a massive overhead to the CPU.

Apprently its "f*cking amazing" on this setup maxed out on all settings in 1024x768

i ordered full game from mpuk on tuesday...got it this mornin but aint had time to install/play cause of college...

this is interesting i have a ge4 from gainward aswell using any detonater and even in cs sometimes it drops from 99 to about 60ish cant figure out why tho cos my geforce 2 MX stayed on 99constant ¿¿¿

Anyone had this problem and fixed it please post :D
