Can someone explain to em the concept of AFK and WHY this would ever happen!?

Away From Keyboard.

Means that you're not currently at this machine.

It could happen if you had to answer the telephone and there's not one on your computer desk. You're working on another machine that's behind you.

i did make one. it was called Cheez IRC (CIRC) and was very nice (imho). then i lost it to the IBM click of death :( having deleted my backups the day before to make room on my web space.

several thousand lines of mircscript gone. :-/
