im on work experience atm, and will be for the next 2 weeks. since im only allowed to go on web sites at my lunch break, i cant talk on irc!

but i can still talk through good ol' multiplay forums :D

i would like to say sorry, for all the posting i have been doing

you see when i have finished all the work they give me, i get 10 - 15 mins or so spare, so i just post :P

i assure you that all the posts i make will not be Spam, but will be well thought out intelligent replies, except in rants and raves :)

my desk is soo tidy compared to every1 else in the office, the whole place is having a huge clear up, for an important meeting tomorrow, so everything has to be tidy. The only messy thing on my desk is my coke tower :D

lol, My whole office is burried under complete and utter crap.

I have a workbence FULL of ****. got 5 1u servers sat therem 3 HP vectra's, 2 12" monitors, a HP2100 printer, 3 toners and several box's of random crap.

Me thinks i work in a store room :rolleyes:

all i have on my desk is the 1 moniter, and a very tidy tray with all my "office needs" in it, like ink pad, tip-ex etc

they made me throw away my coke tower though :(

Esky, I dont know how the people on the BMW head office survive! It's a nice office, but your afraid to use the bins or you get stared at!

It's mental there. Iv'e been there once as i needed to do some changes to our network, but jeez, dont wanna go back..

i got my own office, got loads of shelve... 2 desks with draws and still have have managed to fill the floor with crap!

cables everywere, paper. Got a whiteboard with crap scribbled all over it!

spent about an hour moving around really heavy boxes
when we were fitting some new lights (the really long ones) we found at that we had broken the fixings, so we poped down to woolys to get some super glue
posted on mpuk forums :D


also

another great thing is that all the computers (even mine) are on a leased line :)

yea, they do that to me a lot.

since apart from school shirts i never wear shirts or ties, i had to order a couple from littlewoods.

i found one black shirt that i wore today, and mondays and fridays are "casual days" so lucky for me the delivery came today :) other wise i would have been stuck wearing the same clothes everyday :|

at my office all the faxes are recieved like an email, with a sender etc, that way they can be forwarded and saved and deleted etc

and i tryed at least 10 times to send that fax, then put the dam thing on auto, so i can only asume it either wasted the fax machines memory, or it sent.

You'll find theres a pause or P button. if not then just wait till the line is picked up, then press 3

conclusion of some things i did

i got through around 3 12 packs of coke,

i customised my mouse mat so it looks v cool ( ill bring it to i14)

fixed a light with some supeh glue

i modded a stapler with is now v cool, and is a tad too powerful (might bring that to i14)

and a bit of work

and in my report i got marked down for "willing to work hard" because i kept talking on the forums :) in comments i put "i would work harder if they paid me"
