Hi i am having problems with BF1942. I connect to the MPUK Server no problems and start a game no problems. During the game everything runs smoothly but at the end of rounds just as the final scores come up or as a new round or map is loading my game freezes up and on one acassion it just chucked me back into windows. Please Please Help.

512MB DDR Ram
GEFORCE 2 64MB DDR
ADSL Inertnet Connection.

You didn't mention your sound card. Is it a Creative one? If so, try dropping the sound acceleration to help it out. There are conflicts with the sound hardware and the game, causing things from simple fps loss through to complete blue-screens.

Hi sorry i have onboard sound Avance AC97 Audio if that helps. Do you mean drop sound acceleration in game.

My soundcard does not support hardware buffering could this be anything to with it.

Hi i have just found out that i have a creative C5880 Sound chip. How do i lower the acceleraton .

Right, type 'dxdiag' in your Run Command box when clicking Start.
Then once the new window pops up, go to the Sound tab. You should find a slider on that page. Slide it all the way to the left.

Sorry to keep messing you about there was a mix up with motherboard manuals. I have onboard sound which is Realtek AC97 i have just updated drivers and will try what you suggested thx.
