How come you now have to wait for nearly a min for new rounds on mpuk server...yes it gives me a chance to go make a cup of tea...what with the loading ect but id rather get into the...action..and frag mpuk staff :D :P

The time allows players to balance out the teams, select their class and select a starting position on the map. It also allows them some time to plan out what they're going to do using the map without having to worry so much about not having enough time to think.

you must remember that some people load slower than others, and its allows time for them to connect, and the time is also useful as Catachan said, to select team/class and tactics for the map.

It has been changed in the config I think but you need to restart the server in order for it to take effect afaik

I fixed it last night when I got pissed off with it as well. It's so needed for clan matches so you can get all your **** sorted on voice comms... but is a bit silly for publics.

That you have enough time to sort out voice comms for clan matches, sort out the tactics you have just discussed, make sure all of the people are in the server before the round starts, and make sure all of your team are on the right side. Always helpful, admittedly it may be a bit annoying on a pub server.

yeah i agree with you on that, was just fed up of it on public.
but its been sorted by da wizzo so problem solved
