Never played CS

Yes it's true. I have never played CS. But recently I upgraded to an ASUS A7V333 mb, Athlon XP2000 etc and, along with my ADSL want to get in to some more multiplayer action. So come on, tell me why CS is so good and make me go out and buy it!

You at least have a chance at being good at BF cause most ppl are new at it (apart from the very leet MPUK clan). cs as a beginner now will have a very hard learning curve.

BF rocks - all of my cs chums haven't played it since the demo came out - stick with that :)

cs is just one of those games which you dont get bored of easily. Its the same thing over and over again if you look at it from a non-cs-players angle. But once you start playing it, theres always something different, and always room to improve

Yes, CS is 3 years old, but as Offspr1ng said, its still followed by 16million people, imo yes, there are better looking games, and maybe better playing games, but the sheer greatness of CS has not and probably will not be matched for quite a while yet.

BF looks much much better and plays better but it aint in the same league as CS.
This is just me opinion, well i still think Half-Life is is the best game ever made, there is somthing there in half-life and CS that other games cannot match.

I think u summed it up right, there is definitely something in half-life and CS that other games cannot match, to me the engine just feels right, any other game to me just doesnt feel quite right in terms of physics and weapon performance. But maybe ive jus played too much cs :p

lol. Hey, dont diss UT. Or CS. They are BOTH good games.

we had some fun at dreamlan. We had the CS players play againt the UT players at BOTH UT and CS!
